Where are the girls?
This was the question we posed just a few seasons ago – it seemed they were gone to the noble sport of tennis.
Quietly though, we began to detect signs of a new beginning.
Then finally…
“Here we are!”
Amazing…not one but two clans of girls, fighting it out for the same prize! (also a few in JOSD and JCD)
The Blue had their chances throughout the campaign, but alas fell short.
The green though… what a bunch of budding champs!
Leah was the leader, holding firm throughout the season, while Saachi persisted valiantly. Together with Hannah, overcoming the great burden of a school camp followed by a tumultuous day of badminton, they clawed their way through the final day with aplomb!
Unfortunately, The Willison Park girls were too strong in the end. But you can’t say our girls didn’t do us proud.
